Sunday Strolls
A Sunday can be one of the loneliest days of the week. Shops are closed and most of us do not have enough energy left to do anything too energetic. Well, here is a suggestion, why not get together with a couple of friends and come to the Alameda Gardens. You will enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, be able to socialise and get back in touch with nature with all the green flora surrounds, leaving your T.V. box at home.
Children's Play Park
Children can come to the gardens and enjoy the park and fresh air!!
Tea parties
The idea is to have a tea party once a month at the Gardens or on special occasions. Here charities will be invited to come and sell off their baked goodies (i.e. Cakes and tarts) and drinks to raise money. Dates of such events will be given on this page. Although such events are great to have, we cannot guarantee they will be held due to the members organisation and abilities, and we strongly advise that what you take into the Gardens must come out and not be left behind as rubbish, for then such events will no longer occur.
Anyone is always more than welcome to book a table at the Cottage Cafeteria for children’s parties, and that will ensure that drinks will be available for the number arriving.
Fun Days
Similar to the above event, but instead of just baked goods there will also be stalls selling craft work, painting and face painting. Depending on the number of children turning up, there can also be some races and mini-marathons involved. These two events will be organised by the Gardens and the dates and times at which they will be held will be given on the News and Activities web page.
