Places to Visit

Cottage Museum

Due to open in spring 2009, and situated in our 17th Century Cottage, this will house information and displays on the Gardens and its natural history.

Library

This is also situated in the Cottage and contains books and journals on many aspects of natural history and horticulture.  It is a joint natural history reference library of the Botanic Gardens and the Gibraltar Ornithological & Natural History Society.  Use of the library is by prior arrangement.

Wildlife Park

This small animal park is a haven for animals seized by Customs or Police. Its main purpose is to house animals that have been confiscated by the authorities having been illegally captured from the wild and imported into Gibraltar.  While they cannot be returned to the wild, they are well looked after and used for conservation and educational purposes.
